Alan (Al) Bowden has a unique perspective on the challenges facing manufacturing, distribution services and industrial facilities in this country and around the world. The founder of ReVision LLC has 30 years of experience in helping industry design and engineer more efficient, productive and cost-effective facilities and production processes. Bowden's expertise has enabled him to provide counsel and oversight in the construction of manufacturing plants in the United States as well as China, Mexico, Germany, Spain and Slovakia. His extensive experience in plant design, corporate facilities, manufacturing plant construction and distribution center operations has helped companies move to a higher level of performance in the 21st century. During the last four years Bowden has made more than 30 trips to China where he has designed and managed construction of a new plastic injection molding plant for Calmar. As part of this effort he established ReVision International to assist U.S. companies wanting to expand globally. |

Dr. Jim Bradley is an Alumni of Dartmouth College. He is also Certified as a Master Black Belt through the International Truck and Engine Corporation. Jim received his TRIZ Expert Certification from the Russian TRIZ Association in March of 2005. Jim’s recently retired from International Truck Development and Technology Center here in Fort Wayne include solving complex problems using 6 Sigma; Lean; and TRIZ Methodology. He is also actively involved in Intellectual Property Matters, Patents, and predicting where “Next Generation Technology will emerge using TRIZ ++ Methodology. Jim has 4 Patents Issued, 12 Patents pending, and 14 Patent Disclosure forms docketed. |

Jeff Hawes is a Systems Engineer for the JMP Business Unit of SAS. He currently helps customers throughout the Midwest apply JMP Statistical Discovery to their business problems. Jeff has also helped manufacturing customers optimize business processes using SAS analytical solutions. Prior to joining SAS, he specialized in manufacturing in the areas of supply chain, sourcing, product data management and Enteprise Resource Planning system deployments. Jeff also deployed clinical systems for Oakwood Healthcare System in Dearborn, MI. He has a B.A. in Computer Science and an MBA from Wayne State Universtity in Detroit. |

Allison Lasater holds the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), the preeminent professional credential for practitioners in the field of project management. She has practiced in the field for over 13 years, managing projects for Cardinal Health, a Fortune 20 company; Kaiser Permanente, the nation’s largest integrated healthcare organization; the United States Air Force; and a number of private companies, both large and small. Her project experience ranges in scope from warehouse design and construction to software application development and implementation. Patrick has more than 15 years of leadership and project management experience. He began his career as an officer in the United States Army, where he completed a number of the military’s most challenging leadership development courses including airborne, ranger and infantry officer schools and held leadership positions such as infantry platoon leader and company commander. While working for a Big Five consulting firm, he led project teams to design, develop, and implement project deliverables that exactly met client needs. Patrick launched a successful boutique management consulting firm, which under his stewardship quickly grew to more than $1 million in annual revenues within its first two years and continues to experience double-digit growth annually. Patrick works with organizations to help them define and execute on their most important priorities. He has extensive facilitation experience that allows him to move comfortably from the board room to the front line. Achieving sustained, measurable results is the hallmark of Patrick’s client work. Cris is currently the Fleet Systems Analyst for the Indiana Department of Administration. He is project manager for the State’s centralized fleet management system deployment and assists the State with other projects that aim to modernize and unify the various legacy systems within the State. Cris served in the US Army as a Platoon Leader, including combat in Desert Storm, and as Project Manager for Indiana Department of Transportation’s (INDOT’s) maintenance Work Management System. In 2006, he was chosen with four others as “top talent” for INDOT’s initial deployment of Lean Six Sigma. His initial project, Environmental Waterways Permits Process Flow, identified $1.5 million in potential cost savings for the State over the next 3 years. Cris earned his Bachelors in Public Administration from Indiana University in 1984. |

Ms. Mercer is a Raytheon Network Centric Systems (NCS) Strategic Six Sigma lead expert, and the lead expert for the Company’s Command and Control Systems (C2S) business.Mercer is responsible for combining the discipline of Six Sigma with the art of business development, leading to overall growth in the organization. C2S is composed of several multi-discipline entitieslocated across the United States. These entities bring such capabilities as systems and software engineering, C2 systems integration, sensor networking systems, fire and effects control, joint and deployable C2 headquarters, mobile command centers (including homeland defense, ground tactical operations centers, aviation C2 centers and airborne C2 operations centers), rapid prototyping and fielding, and modeling and simulation. These functions operate individually and in various combinations at a theater, combatant and weapon-tier level. Raytheon uniquely supports all of these with technology, products and services — distinctive from either vehicle primes or any other sensor provider. Prior to joining NCS in March 2007,Mercer was the lead Six Sigma Expert for growth and strategy at Raytheon Aircraft Company (RAC). In this capacity, her focus was on growth initiatives and business strategy for all government and commercial business areas, including the development of the company’s international growth strategy for India. Prior to joining Six Sigma, Mercer had a career in proposal management at RAC and Raytheon Missile Systems. She has managed more than 300 proposals, maintaining a win rate of over 85 percent on competitive bids. In 2002 Mercer was awarded the Excellence in Business Development Award as part of the Paveway International business team. Mercer has been with Raytheon Company since 1996. Lloyd Patterson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Akron, Ohio in 1981. The early part of his career was spent managing the Product Assurance Lab at ITT in Ft. Wayne, providing failure analysis services to various military and aerospace programs. He was certified as a Green Belt by the University of Michigan in 2002, as a Black Belt by ITT and by ASQ in 2004, and as a Master Black Belt by ITT (trained by the George Group) in 2005. He is also qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strength Deployment Inventory as part of presenting leadership training at ITT. He recently received the ITT Individual Quality Award for his contribution to the Lean Six Sigma initiative at ITT by training and mentoring Green Belts, Black Belts, and Master Black Belts in Lean Six Sigma and leadership skills. |
Chris Paret has been with Minitab for 6 years as a Senior Business Development Coordinator. Chris manages Minitab’s relationships with all of the US Six Sigma consulting organizations. He received his Six Sigma Black Belt training in 2002 from the Six Sigma Academy. Chris previously worked for a 3rd party logistic provider and a Transportation Software Company. Chris graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Logistics from Penn State University. |

George Strodtbeck has been the Executive Director of Corporate Quality at Cummins, Inc. since May, 2004. He has been responsible for the world-wide implementation of Six Sigma since the beginning of the program in July, 1999. Six Sigma is a world-wide effort at Cummins. To date the company has trained 7000+ belts, completed more than 10,000 projects, and eliminated more than $1.6B in costs. Cummins has further expanded Six Sigma to include Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Technology Development for Six Sigma (TDFSS), Enterprise Risk Management Six Sigma, Customer Focused Six Sigma, Supplier Focused Six Sigma and Six Sigma for Strategy. George graduated from West Point in 1976. He then served in the Army at various sites around the world until 1986, earning a MS in International Relations in 1984. George joined Pepsi in 1986 serving as a Fleet Maintenance and Distribution Area Manager until 1992. At Cummins since 1992 as a member of Corporate Quality, George has led several quality initiatives to include the operational leadership of the 1997 Baldrige application and site visit and Six Sigma.

Terry Tescula is a Senior Consultant for Briljent, LLC which was established in May of 1998. Previously she worked in the insurance industry for nineteen years, where she was involved in performance and development training, customer service, employee benefit business, liaison with marketing and product implementation and documentation, and product contracts. Ms. Tescula is one of ten staff members who travel nationally to deliver leadership training for Walgreen’s. Ms. Tescula has more than twenty five years experience in the training and insurance industries with various areas of expertise, including design and delivery of adult training programs. She is qualified to teach a wide range of courses including technical, behavioral, diversity and insurance-related classes. She is also an experienced meeting facilitator. |

Mattie has 30 years experience in quality and manufacturing management in aerospace, automotive, and consumer product industries. She has held positions as a supervisor, general supervisor, quality engineering manager, product reliability manager, and focus factory plant manager in fortune 500 companies. In these positions, she implemented world-class manufacturing techniques and participated in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and team development seminars with Tennessee Associates, Toyota, and United Technologies. |
